Michael from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We bought the 4 day/4 park tickets to visit one park on each day of our visit. We have now decided we would actually like to purchase annual passes instead. Can we apply these unused tickets to an annual pass before we come in August?

Welcome to planDisney, Michael, and thanks for stopping by with this great question. Your Walt Disney World Resort visit will be here soon, and it sounds like you're ready to unlock a new level of fun with Annual Passes. Let's look at the options you'll have to make even more magic in the coming year.

Michael, I'm thrilled to tell you that you can apply the cost of any unused theme park tickets toward an Annual Pass. For non-Florida residents, the current option is the Disney Incredi-Pass. If you are a Disney Vacation Club member, you'd also have the opportunity to apply the price of those tickets to a Disney Sorcerer Pass. I suggest you look over the current Annual Pass offerings to decide which will work best for you, and call the Existing Tickets line before your trip to make the upgrade.

You can also upgrade the 4-Park Magic Ticket at any Guest Relations location at Walt Disney World Resort; remember to do so before using the ticket at a theme park. My favorite spot to take care of tickets is the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. You can also shop and grab a half-pound cookie at Gideon's Bakehouse while you're there!

Michael, I'm sending pixie dust and happy thoughts that you can secure Annual Passes for your upcoming visit. One of my favorite perks of being a passholder is having the Park Hopper Option. You can start your day at Magic Kingdom Park and end at EPCOT with some eating-around-the-world fun. It doesn't get much more magical than that! Please stop by planDisney anytime.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
