Hello, Deanne, and welcome!
Boy oh boy, if there's one thing I've missed in the years since we moved back to New Jersey from Florida, it's those
Florida residents discounted tickets. They were really nice savings for folks who call Florida home.
If you have a Florida driver's license, a Florida state ID card, or a military ID card from a base in Florida, you can use those to verify your residency digitally. That's kind of a cool and convenient way to verify. Don't worry, though, if you don't have those things. Other items that will work as
proof of Florida residency include recent mortgage statements, home or auto insurance policies, and utility bills. All of those documents must be current, within the past two months, so use the most recent information you have.
You can also bring mail like statements from your bank or another government institution. The mail has to be official, though, so nothing personal, like letters from your pen pals or birthday cards. The mail also has to have been received within the past two months.
These other forms of identification will need to be brought in person in order to activate your tickets. It's easy peasy - just go to guest services at any of the theme parks or
Disney Springs. You can print out copies of online statements, and they'll work just fine.
Congratulations on your new condo, Deanne! I hope you and your husband enjoy many magical moments in your new place.
