    Bought 4 annual passes for our family. We are arriving on 08/01 for 10 days. When can we pickup our magic bands? We have had 4 answers to this. The worst response being that they will be sent to us after we get home and cannot be used on this trip.

    Thank you so much for reaching out to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your planning question about your Annual Passes!

    I am also an Annual Passholder, and I understand that it can be confusing to activate your Annual Passes for the first time. You are correct that you will not be sent your MagicBands that are included with your Annual Passes until after you activate your Annual Passes, which for you would be August 1st. You would therefore not use those particular MagicBands on that trip. You can only activate your Annual Passes in person at Guest Services. 

    I wasn't clear from the question if you are staying on Walt Disney World Resort property for your August trip or not. If you are staying on property, you will be sent MagicBands for that reservation ahead of your trip and you can use those MagicBands for the entirety of the trip! If you are not staying on property, you can purchase MagicBands or you can simply use the card version of your tickets.

    As soon as you activate your Annual Passes, you have full use of all discounts and perks associated with the Annual Pass, and it doesn't matter if you have a MagicBand or not!
