Hello. I have bought an annual pass and linked it to my MDE account. We have not currently used it and plan for first use on 11/2/19. I would like to use a one day pass I have for Epcot and ensure my AP doesn’t get activated yet. How do I do this?

    Hi Christy!

You are going to love being an Annual Passholder at Walt Disney World! Discounts on merchandise and dining, special events and tickets, Passholder only resort discounts, included parking; there are so many things that make being an Annual Passholder a great value. My absolute favorite perk is that all our PhotoPass Photos are included!

You are wise to make sure that you don’t activate your new Walt Disney World Annual Pass until you are ready. I have run into this issue myself, helping my parents to prioritize their ticket media. In my experience, the best way to handle this is to visit Guest Relations prior to entering the park that day. At the Epcot Main Entrance, the Guest Relations desk is to the far right, heading toward the exit to the buses. If you are entering via the International Gateway, Guest Relations is right there as you approach the entrance. Bring your MagicBand and visit the helpful Cast Members at Guest Relations and explain your situation. They will be able to “prioritize” the Epcot ticket over the Annual Pass, ensuring that the Epcot ticket is used that day.

Autumn is the perfect time to visit Epcot! My favorite festival, the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival will be in full swing during your September visit. I recommend you bring your appetite to enjoy the many taste sensations and flavors. Some of my favorites in the past that might be there again this year include the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup, Warm Chocolate Lava Cakes in Ireland and the Croissant aux Escargots in France. Have a wonderful time and welcome to the Passholder family!

    Bon Appetite!
