Hi there, Tyler!
Welcome to
planDisney. Thanks for stopping by to discuss your unused
Annual Pass. Let's talk about activation options.
New Walt Disney World Annual Passes must be redeemed within a year of purchase, or they will expire. Per the
Walt Disney World Annual Pass Terms & Conditions,
"the amount paid for an unactivated, expired pass may be applied towards the purchase of a new pass or ticket (subject to availability) at the current price so long as the new pass or ticket purchase price is equal to or greater than the amount paid for the original pass."Depending on how many years ago you purchased your Annual Pass voucher, you may have acquired it before the activation expiration dates were in place, which explains the 2099 date in your My Disney Experience account. If this is the case, you might be able to make
theme park reservations and enter the parks with your current pass as is. I do recommend stopping by Guest Relations or a theme park ticketing window and explaining your situation to ensure a smooth arrival and entry process.
If your pass has expired, a ticketing Cast Member can also help you upgrade it so it is valid for immediate use. If you'd like to take care of this before your visit, consider calling the
V.I.Passholder line or the general number for
Existing Tickets.
I hope this is helpful, Tyler. Best wishes for a magical year of making memories in Walt Disney World. If there's anything else we at planDisney can do to make your time as a Passholder even better, please reach out. We're all ears! Thanks again for stopping by, and we'll see ya real soon!
