Hello, We are borrowing halloween outfits for the MNSSHP. Would it be safer to mail them to the resort or pack them in luggage? I just don't want them to get lost if we choose to mail them ahead of time to the resort. What are the chances of that?

Unless you carry-on the costumes, there will always be some small possibility of a mishap; airlines do lose luggage and the postal service does lose packages. However, I will say that the likelihood of either of these events happening is quite small. Guests mail themselves packages at their resorts all the time. I have never personally heard of a package like this getting mislaid. I have mailed myself packages to my Disney resort and back home from WDW several times with no problem. To reduce the chance of having a negative experience, you should call your resort and ask for the exact mailing address that they want on the package. You should also write the word "GUEST" and your arrival date on the outside of the box. This will allow the resort staff to make a note on your reservation file that you have a package waiting.  Also, you may want to check with your mail service (USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.) to make sure that you've given enough time for your package to arrive at WDW.
