When I am in the booking window that isn't for my home resort am I only allowed to book that resort for 7 days?

    Hello Clifford,

Welcome to planDisney, a group of Disney enthusiasts eager to assist you with your vacation questions! It would be my pleasure to help answer your question about booking a Disney Vacation Club Resort stay with your Vacation Points

There are two booking windows for Disney Vacation Club Resort reservations: 11 months before your check-in date for Home Resort reservations and 7 months for all other Disney Vacation Club Resorts. These booking windows will open at 8 a.m. Eastern Time for stays of up to seven consecutive nights.

If you are looking to book a Disney Vacation Club Resort stay for longer than seven nights, you will need to either wait until the dates of your entire stay are within the 7-month booking window or you can book the initial seven nights when the booking window opens, adding each of the additional nights as the dates become available.

An extended stay in Walt Disney World is also a great time to try out a split stay vacation, spending a portion of your vacation at one Disney Vacation Club Resort and then switching to another. It is a great way to experience more than one resort during your visit. For my upcoming visit in August, my family and I will spend the first half of our visit at Disney’s Riviera Resort, taking in the newest, beautiful Disney Vacation Club Resort, while enjoying the ease of the Disney Skyliner transportation to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. We will then simply take our luggage down to Bell Services, letting them know we will be moving to our next reservation at Disney’s Polynesian Villas and Bungalows. Bell Services will then transport our luggage for us, allowing us to enjoy the rest of our day in the parks or in Disney Springs. When we arrive at our new resort, our luggage will be there waiting. Disney makes it incredibly simple to make the most of your Disney Vacation Club Membership with a split stay!

I hope that this information helps you to book your next stay in The Most Magical Place on Earth! Please stop back by planDisney any time we can help answer your vacation questions.
