Hi Camry! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Becoming an Annual Passholder can be a really smart idea. With
dining and merchandise discounts and complimentary
Disney PhotoPass downloads, it can be quite a cost-effective decision! In fact, I just did some number crunching myself with my upcoming trips, and realized
purchasing an Annual Pass was definitely the way to go!
When reserving a
vacation package, all guests on the reservation must have the same package components, including ticket type. Any changes to vacation packages must be made at least 30 days in advance. If only one person in your party would like to purchase an Annual Pass, here are some options:
If you would like to upgrade a ticket you have already purchased as part of your vacation package to an Annual Pass, the cost of the ticket will be applied to the purchase of your Annual Pass. At this time, upgrading your ticket to an Annual Pass must be done in person at a Walt Disney World Theme Park ticket window,
Lobby Concierge, or
Guest Relations location. There is also a new
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. While
exclusive Passholder Special Offers do include
Resort Hotel discounts from time to time, discounts cannot be retroactively applied to receive a refund.
Instead of reserving a vacation package, you may make a room-only reservation. You can make a reservation based on any current
Special Offers, and apply an Annual Passholder discount to your room reservation if available. You may then add whatever type of tickets you like for each guest. Tickets will need to be paid in full at the time of purchase. Annual Passholders may add a
Dining Plan to their reservation by calling to add a "ticketless package".
I hope that helps! Please let us know if we can answer any additional questions you may have. If you need
assistance with your vacation package, give the friendly Cast Members a call at (407)934-7639.
Enjoy your vacation!
