I have a booking for pofq in 2023. I can see the room is cleaned before each new guest and fresh towels every other day. However if you are staying for 2 weeks do you do any additional cleaning or fresh sheets at any point?

    Lisa,

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

You are correct, that at this time Disney is still providing modified housekeeping services to rooms every other day. This is still standard across most of the Disney resorts, though there can be some minor variations. But as you already know, every other day they will refresh your towels and amenities, as well as empty out your trash and recycling. What you may not know is that they will also vacuum, as needed, and do some light counter cleaning as well.

But you are coming for a longer stretch, to be sure! What you likely need to know is that housekeeping services are still available at request by just calling or visiting the front desk, so it is possible for you to get some added service even on the days in between their regular visits. I just confirmed this directly with Disney, so you should feel confident in knowing that you will get the kind of service you described. I specifically asked about a fresh sheet change, and they said that it would definitely be available.

On a more personal note, I stayed earlier this year at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. I found that the service every other day was very thorough, and I did not feel in any way inconvenienced. My request for extra towels was handled quickly, and I was very happy with the overall service provided.

Please do feel free to write me back directly if you have any follow-up questions.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
