I am booking my holiday vacation at Disney's art of animation using the holiday/fall special for the week before Christmas. What happens if I cancel December 1st ?

Hello there, Karen! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for taking the time to stop by and ask a wonderful Walt Disney World Resort question!

The holidays are a magical time to visit Walt Disney World Resort! Guests have the opportunity to enjoy special events such as Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays as well as many other offerings that are exclusive to this most wonderful time of the year!

Taking advantage of Special Offers on Disney Resort hotel rooms is a great way to save a bit of money when visiting Walt Disney World Resort! However, if something comes up and you sadly need to cancel your trip, there are some guidelines to keep in mind. Guests that have booked a Vacation Package, which tends to include tickets and other extras in addition to your Disney Resort hotel room, will need to change or cancel their reservations 30 days prior to their arrival to avoid any penalties. If you book a room-only reservation, you may change or cancel your reservation up to six days prior to your arrival. So, if you are concerned about potentially needing to alter your trip dates, I would recommend booking under a room-only Special Offer. That way, you will have a bit more flexibility if anything happens to come up!

I hope this information will assist you as you plan for your holiday trip to Walt Disney World Resort!
