We are booking our first cruise on 16 May 2014 on Disney Magic for 3 nights. I want to know if there is a pirate night or a formal night. My daughter is 2 years old, will she wear a princess dress in that nights? Thanks!

Welcome aboard, Maria Victoria! Congratulations on booking your very first cruise with Disney! Your family is in for lots of fun and excitement as you head out to sea with Captain Mickey!

Your three-night sailing on the Magic this May will include an optional dress-up night and Pirate Night. The shorter sailings don't normally have Formal or Semi-Formal night, but this optional dress-up evening allows families to wear something a bit dressier if they choose, so that would be a great night for your little girl to wear her favorite princess dress. Actually, she's welcome to wear a princess dress each night and all day if she'd like! It's a Disney cruise, after all!

Pirate Night will be the second night on your particular sailing, after your day in Nassau. Plan to pack pirate gear, costumes or an accessory or two for this fun night! Some families go all out in full pirate outfits, while others put on the provided pirate bandana and enjoy the night like that. Either way, you're in for lots of swashbuckling fun that night!

Stop back again if you have other questions before you set sail, Maria Victoria! I'm happy to help!
