Ahoy there, Russell! Welcome aboard, and thanks for cruising in with your question.
Disney Cruise Line has a pretty flexible cancellation policy, but whether or not you'll have to incur a fee is going to depend on when you've booked, which category of stateroom you've booked, and the length of your
cruise ship voyage.
Currently, the
cancellation fees kick in for most categories of stateroom if you are within 60 days of sailing. Suites and concierge level staterooms will lose the per guest deposit, even if they are more than 60 days out from their sail date. There may also be some restricted fare categories available on some sailings. Those are nontransferable and nonrefundable. Keep in mind, Russell, that these cancellation policies are subject to change, so when you do actually go to book your cruise, double-check the policies at that time.
So, Russell, for right now, as long as you are looking to cancel at least 60 days prior to sailing, you would be in shipshape when it comes to a refund.
If we can help with anything else as you plan your Disney Cruise Line adventure, just let us know!
