I have a booking in august for cabins at fort wilderness. How do I book a golf cart to use during the stay. The website has a UK number but an automated messages says nothing can be booked. Is there another option ? (Calling from UK), thanks

Howdy, David, and welcome to the wildest panel in the wilderness: planDisney! Your Walt Disney World Resort visit is coming into view down the trail, so let's see how you can secure a covered wagon, er, golf cart for your stay at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort

I spoke to a deputy Cast Member who suggested you call the Tours, Recreation number to speak to a Cast Member who might offer suggestions. I checked the UK website and the Tours, Recreation number is different than the one listed on the Golf Cart Rental page, so that sounds like a great place to try.

Another option is to wait until you arrive to check golf cart availability. They do tend to sell out, but it's worth a try. And if you plan to stay several days, you might be able to rent one for part of your stay. You can make this request at check-in, and I'm sprinkling pixie dust and trail dust your way so you can giddy up around the resort in style!

David, while you're on the phone with Tours, Recreation, I suggest you ask about availability for a Horseback Riding excursion. These 45-minute trail rides start at the Tri-Circle-D Ranch for guests nine and older. I can't think of a better way to enjoy some time in the States than to embrace the cowboy lifestyle!

Thanks again for stopping by, David! Please come back with any questions because planDisney is your partner!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
