When booking will there be an added expense if I need to change the amount of people in our party. My mother is not well and would like us to book her in but what happens if she needs to cancel out. After booking, what if I need to change the dates by 1day

    Hi Cindy!

In general, you can make changes to a Walt Disney World vacation package after it is booked. Whether or not there is a change fee and/or how much it might be is partially dependent on when you make the change. Typically, if it is made earlier than 45 days from your check in date, there is little to no penalty. The closer to travel that you change your package, the more likelihood of there being a change fee.

Also, just for planning purposes, it is usually easier to remove a person from an existing reservation than to add a person later (since you may end up with too many people in a room, etc).

Most often, Disney can also change the dates of reservations as well, however, that may change the price of your trip as you may end up with more/less peak days (weekends, holidays, etc).

Hope this helps! Please let the Moms Panel know if we can help with additional details for your trip!
