A very grand welcome to you from us at planDisney, Laura!
Thanks for stopping by. I love it when a fellow Texan brings their question our way!
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is iconic; you can see it gleaming from afar. The striking red-roofed turrets and the white building under the blue Florida skies make it look as if it were plucked from a fairytale and into Walt Disney World Resort. This magnificent Disney Resort hotel feels fit for royalty. I'm sure you can tell by now that I love just about everything regarding this incredible resort. From the lovely and luxe feel of the lobby and the
scrumptious dining options to the kind and helpful Cast Members, there's no doubt in my mind the resort lives up to its name.
Laura, I'm ecstatic to tell you that the Royal Palm Club, the club level inside the resort's main building, should be operating during December next year. Of course, this is subject to change, but the refurbishment plans should by then be concluded. The crew has been working rigorously to complete the pixie-dusted new rooms. The progress is fascinating; I love seeing the latest details during each reveal! In fact, the Royal Palm Club is currently open to Guests after undergoing renovations! It looks spectacular, and I hope you love the new look.
While Guests are invited to enjoy refreshments served throughout the day during their Club Level stay, I will add that currently, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is the only resort that offers
private dining. Sometimes, self-care means enjoying room service in your room as you watch Mickey Mouse on TV.
December is the most wonderful time of the year to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth! Usually, for the holiday season, you'll find a life-size gingerbread house built inside the resort lobby. It's truly a sight to behold, as it even has a chimney with clouds of cinnamon billowing out of it! Usually, it's a sweet shop where you can purchase your own freshly baked gingerbread goodies and other sweet treats! Every year, the holiday offerings change a little, but one thing stays the same: experiencing the magic of Walt Disney World Resort is something to treasure forever.
Wishing you an enchanting visit, Laura!
