Family in Deluxe Villa Resort

    I booked a villa that sleeps 6 people. But half my party canceled last minute. That leaves us with only three people. Can I still get the villa I paid for or will I be downgraded for not having enough people?

    We are so happy that you have joined us here at planDisney! Thanks for stopping by. 

    Well, it certainly sounds like you are going to have an amazing time exploring your spacious Walt Disney World Resort Villa. Now that you have fewer Guests joining you, there will be even more room for you to spread out and enjoy every inch of your accommodation. 

    The Disney Deluxe Villa that you have reserved will not be changed based on the number of Guests that travel with you. You will be assigned you "Room" according to the category that you booked unless you modify your reservation yourself.

    Since you were planning on a party of six, I believe you must have reserved a Walt Disney World Resort 2- or 3-Bedroom Deluxe Villa. If I am correct, Abigail, you are in for a serious treat! These lovely spaces offer a full kitchen, washer, and dryer. That is in addition to large patio or balcony spaces, delicious dining opportunities, and simply stunning theming. 

    Have you completed your Online Check-In, Abigail? If not, head on over to your My Disney Experience account, select your Walt Disney World Resort hotel, and follow the prompts to complete it. You will enter your credit card information for any purchases made with your MagicBand or Disney MagicMobile pass, make any Resort hotel location requests such as near an elevator or close to transportation, and select a time when you will likely arrive at your Resort hotel. Finally, enter your contact information so that you may receive a text message and email when your Villa is ready. That way, you can simply go straight to your Resort hotel door, unlock it with your My Disney Experience Mobile App or MagicBand, and enjoy! You can completely bypass the Check-in Desk with Direct-to-Room Service.

    I'm sorry that not all of your pals can join your unforgettable Walt Disney World Resort vacation, Abigail. I hope that you still have the BEST. TIME. EVER!
