Howdy Michael!
Thanks for riding by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you have a hootin' tootin' fabulous vacation coming up at
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort!
The Cabins are what I think of as rustic fabulous! They sit on
750 acres of forest and evoke the "can-do" era of the American frontier. Six adults comfortably fit in the Cabin with a living room, full bedroom and bathroom, patio (complete with grill!), and kitchen in each of the hideaways. Did you know that Mousekeeping will even come in and do your dishes? Speaking of dishes, the kitchens are stocked with a toaster, coffee maker, and a full set of utensils. There are even cooking utensils and pots and pans! They make you feel like you are in your home away from home.
Speaking of home, we always seem to play Jenga with the cars in our driveway! Hopefully, you don't have to do the same at
the Cabin. There is a concrete pad next to your Cabin where you are more than welcome to
park. If both cars fit in the designated parking spot, you can leave both of them close. But, if you aren't able to fit them both next to the Cabin, you are correct, one will need to be parked in the main parking lot. Remember, as
Guests of a Walt Disney World Resort, you are entitled to
free standard parking at all four Theme Parks, so feel to drive!
Michael, if you have any additional questions, please swing on back. We are all EARs!
