I have booked my vacation package and want to know how soon I will receive my itinerary?

    Hello there Cindy!

Welcome to planDisney! How exciting that you've got a Disney World vacation package booked! I don't blame you for being anxious to receive more information on your upcoming trip. My kids call this "Mickey mail" and  we love that magical moment when it arrives!

In my experience, once I've booked a travel package on the Disney World site, I first receive an email confirmation. This arrives at the email address attached to my My Disney Experience account. I can also view my plans from this point on (including a magical countdown under "My Resort") by logging on to My Disney account either online or in the app. This is a great central location to gather all of your planning details you may add from this point forward. If you had a travel agent book your package for you, ask them for your confirmation number and enter it under "My Plans" so you can see your details.

If you order any customized MagicBand+ before your arrival, keep an eye on your email for a notice on when they have been shipped to you. They typically wait until closer to your travel dates, probably so they arrive in a timely fashion and don't get misplaced.

The last thing I typically receive in conjunction with booking our Disney World travel package is a large envelope in the mail about 1-2 weeks prior to our arrival date. It includes your reservation details, and any Magical Extras like discounts and free passes to ESPN or Miniature Golf. This pixie dusted mail arrival is always SO exciting... because it means your trip is just around the corner!

Remember your key reservation dates as your vacation gets closer! You can add some Advance Dining Reservations 60 days prior to check-in. And I highly recommend reserving some Lightning Lane Passes so you can skip the stand by line of some of your favorite attractions. These can be purchased 7 days prior to your check-in. With your summer visit, my recommendation is to grab a Lightning Lane pass for Tiana's Bayou Adventure (if it's available). This newly reimagined water flume ride is a family must-do, combining a whimsical serenade from bayou critters with a splash-tastic thrilling finale!

I hope this assists you with finding your itinerary and knowing what to expect next, Cindy. Please visit us again at planDisney with any additional planning questions you may have. And have a  wonderful vacation!

    See ya real soon,
    Tami
