    Hi. We booked a vacation to Orlando on short notice. Is there a wait list for character dining or can you take a chance and line up same day? We will be there Nov 29 to Dec 5. Thank you. Charlene

    Hi Charlene! Lucky you to be planning a last minute vacation! It makes the waiting so much easier! Don't despair about the lack of reservations available. Although there are no wait lists for dining reservations, people do cancel. To increase your chances at getting a cancellation, I recommend showing up at the restaurants in person at off peak hours, such as mid-afternoon or later in the evening. If you're staying at a Disney Resort, go to the reservation desk daily and have them check for you. Also, call Disney Dining from your room first thing in the morning and see what they have available. Be sure to let them know that you are open to ALL character dining experiences.
