I have booked a vacation in the month of September (10th - 15th) and am only now reading about love bugs. Do they impact a Disney vacation much? What are their effects?

    Hi Sheri!

Oh dear, you must be referring the the lovely "Love Bug" season in Florida! Dubbed "love bugs" because the two fly together, holding each other as if they are life long partners, these innocuous bugs are more of a minor annoyance than anything to worry about.

We visit in September every year for the past six years now and I've encountered these little guys, however, they really aren't a big deal.

They don't interfere with any outdoor activities and they don't approach or bother people. They don't sting or bite, they just fly around and may occasionally bump into you.

Don't worry at all aobut these little guys and you will enjoy your vacation!

    Magically,
    Stacy
