If I booked my vacation to Disney world already but, someone wants to come along with me do I have to cancel my trip to add them or anything?

Hello there, Kendra! Welcome to planDisney! We appreciate you taking the time to reach out and allowing us to help you plan your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!

One of my favorite parts of visiting Walt Disney World Resort is a large amount of versatility you are afforded when creating your plans! In the initial stages, you can choose which Disney Resort hotel you would like to stay at, which room category you would prefer, and so much more. Even if your plans change down the road, you can modify many different aspects of your reservation!

If you need to add another Guest to your reservation, you do not need to re-book your visit! Instead, you can modify your reservation either online or over the phone! If you choose to alter it online, all you will need to do is log into your My Disney Experience account. From here, navigate to the “My Reservations” page and locate the reservation you would like to change. You should see a link that says “Modify Reservation” and, once clicked, this will allow you to change the number of Guests, travel dates, room category, and more.

If you would prefer, you may also make this request over the phone by calling the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations phone line! Here, a Cast Member will assist you in making whatever changes you would like to make including adding an additional Guest.

Keep in mind, your new Guest will also need reservations before entering any of the four theme parks! This may be done through the Disney Park Pass system as soon as they have purchased tickets and connected them to their My Disney Experience account. It is recommended that you check out the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar online prior to purchasing tickets, though. This will allow you to verify that there is availability in the parks you would like to visit during your anticipated travel dates!

I hope everyone has a phenomenal time visiting Walt Disney World Resort later this year! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you!
