    Hi, We have booked a vacation directly with Disney and have also booked the Disney Dining Plan for our stay. Is it possible to upgrade one of our party to the Deluxe Dining plan or do all people in the room need to upgrade to the same plan? Thanks!

    Hi, Lee! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks so much for stopping by with your question. The Disney Dining Plan can be such a wonderful and convenient addition to your vacation. Instead of making plans to head back to your resort for a quick meal, you only need to make dining reservations or pick out your favorite Quick Service dining location. Your MagicBand is even better than a magic wand. Simply give it a wave (and a "bibbidi bobbidi boo" for the fun of it!) and your meals are taken care of with your Disney Dining Plan entitlements. This is the best kind of magic for parents!

    Lee, you are welcome to speak to a Cast Member about making changes to the Disney Dining Plan you selected when you booked your Disney Resort Hotel Package. However, please understand that all guests that are part of the same package must have the same package components. I recommend you do "the Mickey math" to determine if it is worthwhile for everyone to upgrade to a higher plan or if your current plan will be practically perfect in every way. I usually make out a quick spreadsheet and list what our expected costs would be at each dining location we plan to experience. I then compare it to the price of each dining plan. If your expected costs are more than what you would pay to have the upgraded dining plan, then you may want to go for the change!
