Hi Moms! I've booked a vacation Dec30 2010 to Jan6 2011 with Deluxe Dining Plan. I've checked out the 2011 plan and 2 of the restaurants I booked for are not available anymore (eating there in 2011 but booked in june this year). Do I have to cancel them?

    Hi Marie-Pier,

You are so close to your trip! How excited you must be!

Unfortunately, the Disney Dining plan does change restaurants as each individual restaurant contracts separately to the plan. This is why some of the restaurants which were on the plan for 2010 may not be on the plan for 2011.

You do not need to cancel your reservations. You would simply pay out of pocket for your meals at these two restaurants. You can work with your hotel concierge upon check in to see if either of the two restaurants have made an agreement to join the program. If not, you can change your reservation or pay out of pocket.

If you choose to eat at these restaurants and pay out of pocket, you can use the additional meals to upgrade to a two dining meal option such as the Hoop Dee Do Revue.

Otherwise, you will need to find another dining option for your trip. This may be the opportunity to try a new restaurant!

    Have a magical vacation!
