I booked my vacation - AK Lodge and park tickets through AAA. How do I add dining plan to my reservation? My daughter is in adult category but at 11 eats very little so I"m not sure it's worth buying plan for her. Can we buy just for my husband and me

Hi Claire! You've chosen a fantastic resort in the Animal Kingdom Lodge, so you've gotten your Disney vacation planning off to a great start! Since you made your vacation reservation with your AAA travel agent, I recommend that you contact your agent and tell her you'd like to add the Disney Dining Plan to your reservation. She can take care of that for you.

As the mom of a picky 11-year-old myself, I understand your concern about your daughter not being able to eat enough from the adult menus to justify the cost of the Dining Plan for her. However, to reserve the Disney Dining Plan, you must purchase one for all members of your travel party, so you'll have to buy one for your daughter too. If she's not hungry enough for a big adult meal, you can use her adult credit to purchase a children's meal, or you can pay out-of-pocket for her kiddie meal and save the Dining Plan credit for you or your husband to use at a different meal.

Have a magical vacation! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We're always happy to help!
