Hi Rebecca,

You're welcome to leave cash at your hotel to secure MagicBand charges in the parks and resorts. You can also leave a debit card, Disney Gift Cards, or other forms of payment as well. Just speak with the front desk during check-in and they'll help you arrange everything.

A word of unsolicited advice -- As tempting as it may be to head off to the parks with nothing but your Magic Band, I strongly caution against this. It's tempting to walk out the door and leave your wallet in your room, but even at Walt Disney World, emergencies can happen. I say this as someone who twice over the years has had to leave the parks and head directly to a medical facility. You really never want to be without your photo ID, medical insurance card, and at least a little bit of cash for a taxi. That being said, the MagicBands really are incredibly convenient.
