Enhancing your visit to

Lodge Umbrella is the perfect way to fully relax and unwind. Your cares will melt away faster than snow in Florida! Just last week, my son and I had a splash-tacular day chilling out on Mount Gushmore, and we spent some time with my
planDisney pal, Eean K who had reserved a Polar Patio for her family. She was kind enough to share her space with us, and fill me in on how she scored her personal oasis.
Your Lodge Umbrella reservation will not show up in your
My Disney Experience account, but you should have been given a confirmation number over the phone that, while not necessary for check-in, would be handy to have just in case. Eean informed me that when she checked in at the
Beach Haus she simply gave her name, and a Cast Member showed them to their Polar Patio. Their attendant was charming and helpful; he even created a hidden Mickey out of fruit in their water cooler!
I can't wait for you to have a brrrrr-ific time at Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, Connie. Be sure to ride the
Chair Lift to the top of Mount Gushmore at least once to take in the incredible views. My other recommendations for not-to-be-missed experiences are a group trip down
Teamboat Springs (we fit six
Mouseke-skiers in one raft!), a downhill dash on the
Toboggan Racers, and a refueling stop for some
Mini Donuts or a
Sand Pail Sundae. I also suggest
familiarizing yourself with the latest health and safety recommendations. Basically, if you're not swimming, sliding, or sitting, keep that face-covering on, and have a super cool day!
