    have booked a trip to wdw oct 14-23 party of 5 of whom 3 first timers. noticed that illuminations is not mentioned on the epcot calendar. have you heard anything about this? would be a pity if we could not show it to the first time visitors.

    Hi Ada!

    While the Epcot calendar does not appear to be fully updated, as far as I can determine, Illuminations should be performed nightly at 9 pm. In fact, one of the new Food and Wine Festival events is a special dessert party that is held on Friday nights during Illuminations. For more info on that event, check out this post on the Disney Parks Blog.

    Hopefully the park calendar will be updated soon, and you can finish your trip planning! I hope you have a great trip!
