    I have booked a trip to WDW in Dec 2016. I am 5 months out and trying to make an event reservation for the Star Wars Galactic Party. However I noticed that I cannot make any reservations past Sept. 5th. Is this event not happening while we are there?

    Hi, Sandra! Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party is the party you are looking for, and it is indeed still celebrated at Disney's Hollywood Studios each night. My daughter and I tried to visit it last week while we were there (I want that Chewbacca stein!), but we just ran out of time trying to fit everything in on a short trip. We have attended other dessert parties at Walt Disney World Resort and we have always found them to be excellent additions to our plans, considering the prime entertainment viewing location they offer, the included beverages, and most of all - the treats! Honestly, who can resist a Darth Vader cupcake? The force is strong with this party, as it seems to definitely live up to its spectacular name.

    Looking over upcoming entertainment schedules, I see you are absolutely correct. This party is only currently scheduled to be offered through mid-September. You may want to keep an eye on its online booking page and on the Disney Parks Blog for updates to the schedule. You never know when more party dates may appear for you and your padawans!
