    I booked my trip with a travlel agent. I am currently booked at Caribbean but want to change to Port Orleans French Quarter. My agent says all the rooms are booked but when I go online the availability it there. Why is that? Can I get around it?

    Hi Michelle! It's always hard for me to decide which Disney resort to stay in on my vacations -- they're all so fabulously themed that choosing one is tough. I'm sure you'll be happy in either the Caribbean Beach or the Port Orleans French Quarter, but if you want to change your reservation, it's probably best to contact your travel agent again. If she booked your vacation using a Special Offer, such as Free Dining or a discounted resort rate,  it's possible that rooms at the special rate are no longer available even though the resort itself is not completely booked. Generally when a special deal is offered, only a limited number of rooms are available and rooms aren't always available at every resort.  Availability at the Disney resorts is always changing, so it's also possible that the French Quarter was totally booked when your agent originally checked, but now rooms have opened up. I recommend you contact her and ask her to check again because you noticed the French Quarter has availability online. If your agent can't find availability but you can, you could also consider canceling the vacation arrangements you made with her and booking the vacation yourself. (Of course, you'd want to confirm with your agent that there's no cancellation penalty before taking that route.)
