    Booked our trip to PO-FQ in Sept. Hoping the free dining plan offer is available this year. Would like to reserve Mickey's BBQ. Can we get a refund on our credit card and use our dining credits at a later date?

    Hi Sheri, 

    Mickey's Backyard BBQ is on the list of things to try but I hear it is awesome!

    When you make your reservation, you will be charged. If Disney offers free dining or you choose to add the dining plan to your trip, you need to call Disney Dining and ask for a refund. If they have an opening, they will book you a new reservation using your Disney Dining Plan and refund your money right away.

    If there are no reservations when you try to switch to the Disney Dining Plan, no worries. When you go to the party on the day of the BBQ, simply tell the host or hostess you would like to switch to the Disney Dining plan. You will receive a credit at that time.
