    I've booked a trip in October of this year. I have made payments with my debit card because I don't have a credit card. When I check in do I absolutely need a credit card? Or if I can use debit will they put a hold on my funds & how much?

    Howdy Presley!  I am so excited for you.  Fall is my favorite time to visit Walt Disney World.  The temperatures are perfect and you get to enjoy my favorite ticketed event,   Mickey's No- So-Scary Halloween Party.  Presley, you are making me want to pull out my computer and book a trip myself.  

    I have great news for you.  You absolutely can link your debit card to your My Disney Experience account.   When it is time to complete online check in, you can simply add your debit card number.   Once you are at Walt Disney World this is the card that will be applied to your account.    I use my debit card  on every vacation I take.   I have never had any issues using it. 

    Please note that at most Resorts once you have reached $1500 in spending your debit account will automatically be charged.  I often save up Disney Gift Cards and go to the front desk of our Resort and pay down our charged items with these.   You can stop at the front desk at anytime and they can print out an itemized list of charges for you.
