    I have booked a trip in November via a travel agent. However, since then my circumstances have changed and I will now be using a wheelchair whilst there. I am still able to walk short distances. How do I request a shower stool for my room? I'm in the UK.

    Gemma,

    Disney is very good about accommodating such needs. They really make the vacation fun for everyone!

    I would recommend you do the following;

    1. Contact your travel agent and inform them of the need. Ask them to adjust your reservation accordingly.
    2. If your agent seems unable to comply, contact your Disney resort directly. For many such requests they can't take the request until 10 days out from your vacation, since that is when the respective resort is made aware of your reservation.
    3. When you are using Online Check In (10 days before your trip), make sure to request it AGAIN. No problem with repeating such requests.
    There is a chance that to meet your needs they will move your reservation to a wheelchair accessible room. I would not resist that. It is going to be your best bet to feeling comfortable in your surroundings, being close to the main lobby, and enjoying your vacation!

    Have a magical vacation!
