Heather from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I booked this trip for my husband and I, however due to illness complications, he will not be allowed to travel. Can I transfer the ticket into my daughters name so she can join me?

Hi Heather and welcome to planDisney! I’m so sorry to hear that your husband is not well. I’m happy to help you figure this out.

You can absolutely reassign a theme park ticket that has not been used. Just log on to your My Disney Experience account, click on “Tickets and Memory Maker” to see the theme park tickets linked to your account, then on the right-hand side of your screen, it will say “Reassign Ticket.” You can then reassign the ticket to your daughter. You may want to call your Disney Resort hotel at (407) 939-5277 to add your daughter’s name to your reservation, too. But that’s it! You should be taken care of after that.

Once everyone in your party has a ticket assigned to them, click on “Park Reservations” to make your Disney Park Pass selections. You can also check the availability calendar to make sure the park you want to visit is available for your vacation dates.

As you continue to plan your upcoming visit, keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog. It’s a great place to keep tabs on all the fun offerings and activities at the theme parks during your vacation. You will also want to take a look at the offerings for The Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. You don’t want to miss those beautiful topiaries or the delicious bites from the outdoor kitchens.

Heather, I hope I’ve been helpful! Please feel free to come back to see us if you have any more planning questions! It’s always our pleasure to help you with all the details of your next magical vacation!
