We booked a trip with free dining promotion all star sports standard room. We wanted to stay 5 nights but couldn't get it with free dining plan.we added a 2nd reservation at same resort but only preferred room avilable.do we have to check out and back in?

    Hi Amber!

It sounds like you are planning a terrific trip at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort.  Since you have 2 separate reservations, one for a preferred room and one for a standard room you would have to check out and check back in to a different room.   Preferred rooms at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort would be located in buildings 1 or 6 which are closer in proximity to the Stadium Hall Lobby and End Zone Food Court.  Your standard room would be located in a different building, which would require you to move rooms.   I have found that by completing online check-in and opting for a text when your room is ready  you can sometimes avoid visiting the front desk to check-in. If that is the case for your family, you could easily go to your new room once they text you the room number and simply open the door with a tap of your MagicBand.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Amber.   Please stop by again with any other questions you may have about your upcoming unforgettable vacation.
