Hey there, Mackenzie, and welcome to planDisney!
We're happy to see you here and, since we're all planners too, I'm excited to see you looking so far ahead into the future for your trip to the Disneyland Resort! You've definitely come to the right place and we'd be happy to field any planning questions you might have. There's plenty of time to refine your plans and sometimes I find that the anticipation is almost as much fun!
Mackenzie, what you read is entirely accurate. Guests holding regular
Theme Park Tickets are able to view the
Reservation Availability Calendar up to 180 days in advance. That means that, for your late September/early October visit, you should be able to make your reservations around late March. Don't forget to do this, because the earlier you secure your reservations, the better. Reservations are limited in number and they sometimes run out for a particular day due to capacity. Part of the ticket buying process through the
Disneyland website involves selecting dates for your visit. Those dates can always be changed at a later date should you choose to purchase your tickets before your reservation window opens up. Some guests like to wait a bit to see if Disney releases any special
offers or discounts, which is always a nice surprise.
You'll be visiting during what will likely be the Halloween Season next year! It's my favorite time of year to visit and I love all the spooky decorations and special foods that are released around this time. Keep up with the
Disney Parks Blog to stay up to date with the seasonal foods and entertainment! And don't forget to make your
dining reservations up to 60 days in advance of your trip.
I hope that was helpful for you, Mackenzie! Please write us again if you have any further planning questions leading up to your trip. You can write back to
me or any of my planDisney pals and we'd be thrilled to help! You're always welcome at planDisney! Until next time!
Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
