Hello , We just booked a trip to celebrate my husbands 30th birthday. We will be traveling with our 3 and a half year old son during the thanksgiving week. What is the weather like then and is where would be a good place to eat on turkey day?thanks!

    Happy birthday to your hubby!

The weather at the end of November is usually great for park touring. Daytime highs average in the mid-70s and nighttime lows average in the mid 50s. This is very comfortable! For a packing/dressing strategy, I'd suggest bringing lots of clothing that you can layer. It will be a bit chilly in the morning. In this situation, I tend to start the day with a short-sleeved tee, under a long-sleeved tee, under a sweater or light jacket. You'll be fine when you start out and then as things warm up, you just subtract layers as needed.

As for where to eat, without knowing where you're staying, which park you'll be visiting, or a general budget range, it's a bit difficult to make a dining recommendation. I'll be at WDW Thanksgiving Week too (be sure to say "hi" if you see me in the parks). When I researched where to eat the big meal, I discovered that virtually every restaurant at WDW will have a special menu that day. You should be able to have turkey and all the fixings just about anywhere, from the food courts at the value resorts to the signature dining restaurants in the deluxe resorts. If you want to eat at a table service restaurant on Thanksgiving Day, I suggest getting on the phone with Disney Dining (407-WDW-DINE) as soon as possible to discuss with them what restaurants still have availability. When I made my reservations months ago, many of the restaurants were already fully booked.

    Good luck!
