I booked a trip in August and my friend booked it later. She got free dining and I already paid. We are arriving the same day. I was told I can't get free dining now. Any advice?

    Hi Gretchen,

I am sorry to hear about you missing out on free dining. I recommend the following to help with your trip:

First, call Disney back and ask if there are any rooms available with free dining. If there are, Disney generally will offer you the new promotion. You also may need to switch resorts to make this work or alter your days provided you do not have airfare booked.

Next, keep looking for deals. I like to look at Mousesavers.com or Allearsnet.com for Disney deals. Should you find a deal, call Disney back and ask if they have rooms available. AAA and Disney Annual Passholders also have deals.

You could also try rebooking your trip in hopes of getting a deal. Just be aware of cancellation policies so you do not lose any money.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
