Heigh-Ho Amy,
Great question and one I definitely can help you with. I highly recommend all Guests, visiting Walt Disney World in any capacity, make a
My Disney Experience profile and download the
mobile app. This is your vacation hub, take the time to get comfortable with navigating what it can do for you during your visit.
In your case, My Disney Experience will allow you to link tickets to all Guests, included in your My Family and Friend list, see your
Disney Park Pass reservation and modify any changes you may need to make. It will allow you to see current wait times, make
mobile-order quick-service dining selections, entertain you while you wait with games, make table service dining reservations, along with many more helpful vacation planning tools. Take the time to check it out before your arrival.
If you have not already done so, make a My Disney Experience profile and link your tickets. If you do not have MagicBands, no worries. In your case, because you are not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, you will not have charging privileges on a MagicBand. You will need to use your credit card if making purchases. Guests can include a credit card, in their My Disney Experience profile, this is convenient when making mobile-order quick-service dining selections. Before entering, your first Walt Disney World Theme Park, make your way to a Ticket Counter/Guest Relations. A Cast Member can look up your My Disney Experience profile and assign a hard copy ticket, called a Key to the World, to each Guest to use for the entirety of your visit. Or, at least, make sure you have your confirmation email, for your tickets, to show upon arrival at the counter.
We here at planDisney have many yEARS experiences between us, visiting Walt Disney World, and look forward to sharing our Walt Disney World vacation planning advice and experience. If I can be of any further assistance feel free to ask and may your upcoming stay be filled with many magical and memorable moments.
