    I booked thru a travel agent (nightmare! too many problems to mention). Then received an offer from Disney for 20%. Can I find out if discount applies. Disney told me to call agent (who was no help)

    Hi Laura,

    I am sorry that the agent was not of help to you. Here our my thoughts-try the agent one last time. Explain the discount and see if they will honor it.

    Second, call Disney as if you wanted a new reservation and ask them about the discount. If, and this is a big if, you can book with Disney with the new rate, and cancel the current reservation with the agent without penalty, you may want to do this.

    I personally have done that but I had no penalties. Also, my travel plans were not altered in any way.
