Welcome aboard, John! This time next year, your family will be getting ready to head out to sea on the Disney Dream! As a Castaway Club member, you know how magical a cruise with Disney Cruise Line will be, but you'll have even more surprises in store, as every Disney voyage is different!
The dining rotations on the Dream's four night sailings typically have guests dining in one restaurant on night one, a second restaurant on nights two and three, and the final restaurant on the last night. So, yes, your options would be possibly AEER, RAAE, or ERRA. These are abbreviations using the first letters of the names of the three main dining restaurants on the Dream:
Animator's Palate,
Royal Palace, and
Enchanted Garden. If you'd like to enjoy a specific night in a specific restaurant, you may request that particular rotation with the agents at Disney Cruise Line at 800-951-3532. These requests are not guaranteed, but in my experience, they do their best to accommodate these types of requests. Guests receive their dining rotations when they arrive at port the first day.
Since you've not enjoyed a day at sea before, you probably didn't have
brunch in Palo yet! That is something you absolutely must try! I even enjoy Palo's brunch better than dinner at Palo. Be sure to log into your reservation when your window opens (90 days prior to setting sail for Silver Castaway Club members like yourself) and make reservations then, as times do fill up.
Stop back over the next year if you have more questions before you set sail, John!
Happy planning!
