I booked a tea party at the GF for my girls. My husband says I should not book it because we will have other things to do. Any suggestions.

Hi, Wendy!  This can be a difficult question to answer.  I don't know how much time you have planned for your vacation, or if this is a once in a lifetime trip or a once a year visit to Walt Disney World.  I'll give you my best opinion with regard to booking extra activities, such as the tea party.

My oldest daughter really got the short end of the stick in terms of the "extras" you can do at Walt Disney World.  When she was young, I wanted to make sure she did everything she wanted to do.  I would never have been able to squeeze in time for anything like the tea party.

My other girls are veterans of the theme parks since they were infants.  Every time I go with them, I go with the message that whatever we don't see or do, they know we'll be back and do it next time.  I don't push to fit everything in, and we take more time to do the extra things and spend time at the pool.

If you have a lot of things you are trying to fit into a short visit, I'd say skip the tea party.  The party is great fun for the kids, but so is being on the attractions.  My middle daughter would rather have two turns on Splash Mountain than have to leave to go to the tea party; and my little one would spend all afternoon at Innoventions at EPCOT rather than the tea.  It's not that they don't love the tea party, it's just that there is so much else to do!

Weigh out what you have planned, and see if you think it would take too much time away from other activities.  Your husband may be right on this one!
