Hiya, Nick!
Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your question. You’re going to have a fantastic time at
Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort. It’s full of fun details and Disney magic from the moment you walk in on that red carpet entrance. As a mom whose own son adored Toy Story as a toddler, I know how special this will be for your family. It’s such a sweet age for this kind of adventure!
The Toy Story section of the resort is located in Buildings 9 and 10, which are part of the Preferred Room category. These rooms are closest to Cinema Hall, where you’ll find the food court and transport pick-up; super handy when you’ve got little legs with you!
If you didn’t originally book a Preferred Room, it may be possible to upgrade when you arrive, depending on availability. I’d recommend speaking with the front desk at check-in. If you booked as part of a UK holiday package, you might also want to check with your travel agent or the
Walt Disney Travel Company UK ahead of time to see if any Preferred Rooms have opened up.
Even if you end up in a Standard Room, your little one can still spend as much time as he likes exploring the Toy Story courtyard. Woody, Buzz, Bo Peep, Rex, and the Green Army Men are larger than life out there, and it truly feels like you’ve stepped straight into Andy’s room! There are also some fun photo ops, including giant alphabet blocks and a bit of that iconic cloud wallpaper with Andy’s bedroom window and door.
As for sleeping arrangements, while Disney Resorts don’t provide traditional cots due to fire safety codes, they do offer
complimentary Pack ‘n Plays or cribs. You can request one in advance or ask when you arrive, and the lovely Cast Members will be happy to help. You can also get complimentary bed rails at Walt Disney World Resort hotels. They are available on a first-come, first-served basis and can be requested at the front desk.
As Woody says, “Reach for the sky!” Here’s to a holiday packed with memories and maybe a few space ranger missions, too!
All the best,
Eean
