Hi. We have booked to stay in one of the Disney hotels This year and have got a meal plan.could you tell me to I have to book for breakfast in our hotel or is it just a case of turning up?

Hi Leanne! Welcome to planDisney! I'm absolutely thrilled to hear about your upcoming trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth. It's fantastic to know that you'll be savoring all the delectable food at the theme parks and Resorts with your Disney Dining Plan. You are in for a truly magical experience, and I'm confident your whole family will create memories that will last a lifetime.

I may not have the details of your upcoming trip or which Resort you'll be staying at, but I want to help make sure you have the best dining experience. Most table-service restaurants and character dining experiences at Disney World get booked up quickly, so it's good to plan ahead. Guests with a valid Disney Resort Hotel Reservation have the advantage of being able to make reservations for their entire stay (up to a 10-night stay) up to 60 days in advance of their arrival, giving you a head start to grab the best available spots.

Even if some restaurants are fully booked, there's no need to worry. There are still numerous dining options available, with over 200 locations to choose from. Each Resort has quick-service dining locations that don't require reservations, so you can simply drop in, select your favorite dishes, and enjoy your meal at the location or return to your room.

For a comprehensive overview of all your dining options, I recommend visiting the Disney World website. You can even search for your specific Resort to learn more about its unique dining offerings. For instance, if you're staying at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, you'll find a variety of sit-down restaurants that may require a reservation, such as 1900 Park Fare, Grand Floridian Cafe, Cítricos, and Narcoossee's. Additionally, the counter-service Gasparilla Island Grill offers a range of entrees for lunch and dinner, including artisan burgers, flatbreads, and sandwiches made with fresh bread from the Grand Floridian Bakery.

Leanne, I hope this helps with your planning. I can't wait to hear more about your next great adventure, so please come back anytime and send us more questions. We are always ready to help out a friend like you.

    Cheers
    Nilson
