Hi Kine, and welcome to planDisney! I'm absolutely thrilled for you as you're about to embark on a journey to The Most Magical Place on Earth next month. It's such exciting news, and I can't wait to hear all about your adventures!
Let's talk about how you can enjoy the beautiful views and get your steps in between
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa,
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, and the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC). I have some great news—I've confirmed with a Cast Member that the walkway is open for delightful strolls between the Resorts and the Magic Kingdom.
Now, it's important to note that the walkway was temporarily closed because of construction on the Polynesian's new Island Tower. It might close again during your stay, but don't worry—you can always hop on the monorail that connects the two Resorts and the TTC.
Talking about the
monorail, The Resort Monorail (between Magic Kingdom, the Resorts, and the TTC) and Express Monorail (from the TTC to EPCOT and Magic Kingdom) start operating 30 minutes before Magic Kingdom park opens and stop an hour after it closes. The EPCOT Monorail starts running 30 minutes before EPCOT opens and stops 2 hours after it closes. Just keep in mind that
Early Theme Park Entry for Disney Resort Hotel Guests starts 30 minutes prior to the official opening hours, taking into account the time the theme park doors open for the first time.
I hope this helps with your planning, Kine. Feel free to
come back and ask more questions anytime. We're always here and happy to help out a friend like you.
Cheers
Nilson
