Hi, Helen!
Thank you for bringing another question to
planDisney. I’m so happy to hear you’re planning a vacation to the
Disneyland Resort, especially if this will be your first visit to the theme parks here on the West Coast!
As you know, Guests visiting the Disneyland Resort can begin booking their advance
dining reservations up to 60 days in advance. In my experience, most table-service reservations become available online at 6:00 a.m. Pacific Time (which is 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time, so your wake-up call won’t be as early as mine usually is!).
If you have multiple reservations to make, log in to your MyDisney account a few minutes early and be ready to search for the most popular dining locations on your list first, such as
Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar,
Blue Bayou Restaurant, or
Oga's Cantina. No, Disneyland Resort dining reservations cannot currently be made for a complete length of stay, so you’ll need to make your arrangements one day at a time if you wish to secure reservations at the 60-day mark for each day of your visit.
If you’re not able to book a restaurant on your must-do list on the first try, don’t give up! Availability fluctuates, so keep checking periodically. If you can be flexible, check a range of meal times as you search so you'll have a better chance of finding an available reservation. There's also the possibility of joining the
Mobile Dine Walk-up Availability list in person. You can access this feature in the
Disneyland mobile app for select dining locations in the theme parks.
I hope this helps, Helen, and that your vacation is pixie-dusted to perfection! Please stop by again with any other questions you can dream of as your trip draws near.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
