Greetings Marilha,
Welcome to planDisney! You are staying at such a fun and exciting Disney resort! My family loves staying at Pop Century with its handy access to the
Disney Skyliner, for easy transportation to EPCOT or Hollywood Studios. Let's take a look at your reservation, and see if there are options to add the
Disney Dining Plan.
As long as the reservation is booked directly through the Walt Disney World website, then you would qualify for the Disney Dining Plan. If this is the case, one thing to verify is if you have included theme park tickets with your reservation? These would be required before the website offers you the option to add dining. Perhaps your reservation is entered as "room only"? You should be able to modify your current reservation into a vacation package, which include tickets and a dining plan. To do so, log on to
My Disney Experience, go to "My Plans" and find your hotel reservation, then select "Change Reservation". If you need any assistance with this, you can
call a friendly Cast Member who would be happy to help.
Just to confirm, if you booked your Pop Century Resort through a third party website like Priceline or Expedia, you will not be able to add the dining plan. But you can still enter your confirmation number, and track those magical details and arrival countdown in the
My Disney Experience app! (Doesn't sound like this applies to you, though.)
Magical dining awaits, Marilha....! You won't regret adding the Dining Plan to your package. One recommendation, since you can easily access
Topolino's Terrace located at Riviera Resort (near a Skyliner station). The breakfast Character Dining experience with Mickey and his artsy friends has become my absolute favorite! The food is delicious, the views from this rooftop restaurant are spectacular, and the characters are so whimsical in their artist roles. It's truly a delight! Don't forget to stroll out on the patio for the views before you leave. This morning Character Dining experience takes only 1 table service credit, and is well worth it! Be sure to make your
Advance Dining Reservations 60 days prior to your arrival date, in order to get your top picks.
I hope this helps, Marilha. Please visit me again with any other Disney World planning questions you may have. I love sprinkling pixie dust, to help you make the best memories possible!
Magical Memories Await,
Tami
