We have booked a standard view 1 bdrm villa at Kidani VIllage. We have a 6 month old and my parents with us. I'm concerned about the long walk between Kidani and Jambo House. Are there any specific room location we should try and request?

    Melissa,

First off, the walk between the two is about 1/2 of a mile. A pretty long hike for many in your party, no doubt.

You can get back and forth via the standard buses. Getting from one to the other is a matter of picking the right kind of bus. Typically park buses stop first at  Kidani Village, then Jambo House. For going in the other direction pick a Downtown Disney bus, as it reverses the stop order. Certainly check with the front desk to confirm that this is still the case. Transportation within Disney changes all the time, and it only takes a second to be sure.

But if you still want to walk, ask for a room in the South Wing. All the rooms in Kidani Village have four digit room numbers starting with 7. However the ones with 2, 3, 4, and 5 as the next number are in this South wing. Ideally you want something then in the 30s or 40s, so a room number that is 7, then 2/3/4/5, then 30 - 40 (i.e. room number 7337).

    Make sense?

    Have a magical vacation!
