Hello! We booked a single park ticket but are now wanting to have a park hopper pass to be able to go to both parks on our current reservation date- is that possible?

    Hiya Erin,

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for submitting your question to us.

The Disneyland Resort is “the wildest ride in the wilderness!” There are so many attractions and entertainment to experience, so I understand the desire to go back and forth and experience as much as possible during your visit!

Adding a Park Hopper to an existing theme park ticket is easier than trying to pronounce “supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!” If you have an existing ticket, then you can speak with a friendly Cast Member on the Tickets line who will happily assist with upgrading your theme park ticket to a park hopper! You will need to pay the difference on the phone, so be sure to update the payment information in your MyDisney account, and just like magic, your ticket will be upgraded! I waved my magic wand and reviewed the Theme Park Reservation Calendar, and as of today, both theme parks have reservations available, so you can go between both parks (subject to change)!

Tip from Tiffany: Remember that when you add a Park Hopper to your existing ticket, you do not have to make another reservation for the next park you hop to! So be sure to have a theme park reservation for Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park for rope drop and once the clock strikes 11:00 AM PST (hours subject to change), you can hop back and forth as many times as your heart desires (and as long as the parks do not reach capacity!).

If you have other questions about the Disneyland Resort, remember - you’ve got a friend in me!
