Hi Ronald!
Welcome Home and welcome to planDisney! Vacationing at the
Walt Disney World Resort is always more magical when you travel with family and friends. One of the reasons we added a second contract to our
Disney Vacation Club Membership, was that we wanted to be able to bring our loved ones with us. We were joined this summer by close friends, and my kids decided it was one of the best Disney trips we’ve ever had!
You’ll be happy to know that you can visit other
Disney Resort Collection Hotels even with
current COVID-19 precautions, but there are some limitations to be aware of. While you can visit your friends at those resorts, check out their room, or join them for a meal, you won’t be able to use the pools. You also typically won’t be allowed to park a car there unless you have an
Advance Dining Reservation. Even though you may have booked the resort reservation under your Disney Vacation Club Membership, since you aren’t on the reservation itself, you don’t have privileges at those resorts.
But if your friends are staying at
The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resorts, and you want to venture over there for a barbecue and to visit the horses at the
Tri-Circle-D Ranch, you can certainly do those types of things. It looks like you’ll be visiting near Halloween and Fort Wilderness is known for fun and elaborate Halloween displays set up by Guests, so put that on your must-see list! Or maybe stop by Disney’s BoardWalk for an evening stroll around Crescent Lake a dish of your favorite flavor from
BoardWalk Ice Cream.I hope this helps with your planning, Ronald. Please let me know what other questions you have before your visit, we are here to help!
