    I booked a resort reservation at AOA, but bought our park tickets thru a 3rd party site. Do we qualify for the magical extras.

    Hi Kim,

    Disney's Art of Animation Resort is a great home away from home at Disney World. You will have access to one of the coolest forms of transportation, the Disney Skyliner. Jumping on the Disney Skyliner before I ever make it to a theme park feels like my day begins and ends with a ride. 

    It does not matter where you purchase your Disney theme park tickets from as long as they are a legitimate third-party vendor. You will need to add them to your My Disney Experience account to make sure that it is clear you have a Disney Resort hotel reservation, and you also have valid theme park admission. To add your tickets to your account, all you need is the confirmation number or full ticket number on your tickets. Linking your tickets is an easy process. Simply click on the three stacked line icons in the bottom right corner of your My Disney Experience app. Then click "My Tickets and Passes." Once you have navigated here, you will choose the option to "Link Tickets and Passes" and enter your confirmation number. Once everything is linked, you should be able to make theme park reservations and book Lightning Lane passes.

    One of the newest benefits of staying at a Disney Resort hotel is the ability to book Lightning Lane Passes. Guests of Disney Resort hotels can purchase passes up to 7 days in advance of their stay. They will also be able to purchase Lighting Lane Passes for the duration of their trip! Other guests will not be able to purchase Lightning Lane Passes until 3 days before their park visit. This is a great way to get first dibs on the most in-demand attractions at Disney World and ensure you secure yourself a pass.
